Why create a mandala?
♦ Regenerative and curative power – the meditative process helps to focus and open the heart to the healing power of unconditional love.
♦ Calming and relaxing effect – on the mind and body, thus focusing and strengthening the will to heal.
♦ Brings joy as it facilitates the healing of a sense of psychological fragmentation.
♦ Gives form to expression – to an intuitive insight into spiritual truth by releasing the inner light of the soul.

The Mandala Art process I practice was developed by Dr. Judith Cornell as a modern expression of ancient sacred arts, using a simple colouring technique with white and coloured pencils on black paper to create luminous symbols representing aspects of wholeness. - Ildikó
No previous art experience or talent are required. These MANDALAS are not created for the ‘end product’ but for the joyous process as we are making them!

I attended a number of Mandala Classes. It has been many years since I delved into art. The class was held in a really safe way, it was inclusive, freeing and extremely rewarding. I found myself doing a bit of painting and drawing outside of the class. This has proved to be wonderful. I personally thoroughly enjoyed learning about light and shadow through the classes. I liked the mixture of Art and Meditation.
I liked the ease and flow of the teaching style. I liked that I could share my work with the group and people could make observations and make comments in my and others work.
Had a lot of inspired moments during the sessions.” - Sue James UK, 2020
Healing Power of WHOLENESS Mandalas
The ultimate aim of these practices is Self-realisation – the recovery of one’s authentic Self (creating wholeness from fragmentation). The recovery of this Self, synonymous with enlightenment, is the mystical experiential knowing and remembering (…) that we are one with the Divine.
-Dr Judit Cornell
Know yourself deeper than before...
"The sacred symbol of the mandala enabled me not only to find the healing power within myself but also to recover from a sense of psychological fragmentation. During the healing process. I came to experience and express mystical states of consciousness that, until then, had remained outside my grasp. Since that time I have taught the process of mandala making in workshops to hundreds of people, all of whom have created mandalas to facilitate their own physical or psychological healing and spiritual transformation."

Gratitude Art Journaling
We are introducing a new and creative way to experience GRATITUDE!
A fun and practical class:
- Take part in short meditations to become more present and aware of the blessings in your life.
- Watch fun videos on how others approach Gratitude.
- Listen to wonderful songs to find inspiration for your creative journaling practice.
- Create a piece of colourful artwork related to what you feel grateful for that day, to generate more of what you are thankful for in your life.
According to participants, the class supports them to become more mindful and creative. During the class we focus on addressing the shift from left-brain to right-brain activities, balancing the two hemisphere. Colouring and drawing contributes to generating a state of flow. Participants can also develop their drawing skills. All in a fun and supportive environment.
YOU DONT NEED TO BE AN ARTIST TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE AND ENJOY THIS CLASS!
Each class addresses a different aspect of Gratitude and supports you to deepen your practice of expressing your Gratitude towards the blessings in your life.

I get completely absorbed in these wonderful sessions. Each one incorporates mindfulness with gratitude which is so uplifting. I love the fact that there is no specific expectation from the classes other than we should experience the practices and enjoy them. Thank you Ildiko for the beautiful meditations and for your kindness and patience with my tech difficulties. - Rosemary, UK, 2022
Ildikó Kudlik - My Story
My life IS being CREATIVE and making ART. My mission IS to support you to EXPRESS yourself CREATIVELY in order to experience JOY and a deep sense of CONNECTEDNESS.
I am a perceptive and thoughtful creative who strives to deepen her experiences of life. I believe life is a co-creation with the Divine regardless of the name we call it.For me, art is about the ‘making it’, not the ‘end result’. My classes focus on enjoying and having fun while creating. I have worked in many capacities. Some out of need, others out of joyful curiosity. However, I have never deserted my one passion: the Arts. I have been creating since I was about 3 years old. I am a modern polymath who has lived all over the globe and have done more different jobs than the years I have lived so far! Every culture I live in, every person I connected with, and every job I endeavoured have added to the person I am today. My brand, SPIRIT IN ART was founded in 2011. I created Spirit in Art Enrichment Programs out of my passion for Art and Self-Care. By combining the two, I support people to recover their sense of creativity, to enhance their flow of creative energy, to ignite their Spirit, and to get closer to the Core of Who They Truly Are. I offer programs that enrich body, mind and soul. I strive to enable people to gain insights, regain their creativity, expand and flourish on the different surfaces (courses, workshops, seminars, educational settings) I create. I’d like to see more loving connections in the world via people gaining greater awareness of their wholesomeness and as a result, developing compassion for one another. My programs are playful, interactive, and adventurous. I use coaching, therapeutic-art and meditative tools in the programs I run. |
